Proven Producing Reserves, sometimes referred to as Proven Developed Producing Reserves or ‘PDP’ are proven developed producing reserves where there are existing wells in production that are capable of recovering the estimated oil and or gas that is in place. The estimate of the amount of recoverable reserves is typically produced by established petroleum engineering firm with the proper credentials.
